My 4-week Internship

After 4-weeks at Wonderstuff my internship is now coming to an end. From graduating in July of this year, I have had the opportunity to experience several placements within the design industry.

Although University has helped me to understand the tools necessary to being a successful creative, my time spent as an intern at Wonderstuff has been invaluable by developing my experience in the real world. The team has taught me the different dimensions of design including working with clients, and the day-to-day functionality of a creative organisation.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions

I have gained an immense amount of knowledge and indispensable experience during my placement, which has instilled me with confidence for my future in graphic design. I also established myself as the self-certified in-house barista, by swiftly mastering the art of steaming milk and making coffee, the Wonderstuff way!

Wonderstuff has taught me that communication is the most significant aspect of working in a creative environment. It is important to ask questions, discuss ideas, and learn from others around you.

Now that my internship is approaching its end, I have realised that there are restraints involving University education. Having qualifications may seem like the fundamental part of Graphic Design, but it is the real-world experience of the design industry that provides you with the most valuable experience, and thank you to Wonderstuff for giving me this opportunity.
